What We Offer:

Discover. Create. Grow. |
Since 1959, Christ Presbyterian Church Preschool has been educating the community’s youngest children. Our preschool, which originally began as a kindergarten program before public school started offering it, has a long-standing reputation for providing a quality, age-appropriate learning environment. Our classrooms are large, safe, and joyful providing the perfect place for your child to grow and prosper academically, emotionally, and socially.
Located at Christ Presbyterian Church in the Allendale-Camp Hill PA neighborhood of the West Shore School District (Highland Elementary), our weekday preschool provides the community’s three, four, and five year old students with a challenging, interesting and friendly classroom in which they can grow and develop socially, spiritually, emotionally, physically and intellectually.
CPCP, a ministry of Christ Presbyterian Church, provides an age appropriate, safe, preschool atmosphere fostering opportunities for young children to cultivate friendships, independence, and learning through meaningful play and planned lessons. We support social, spiritual, emotional, and academic growth of each unique child and uphold positive partnerships with parents, teachers, the church, and the community.
A balanced program of art, music, language arts, coordination skills and free play. Opportunities for creative expression teach sociability and responsibility through experiences such as field trips, puppets, easel painting, blocks, music, outdoor play, play dough, stories, role-playing and puzzles.
Our classes meet Tuesday to Friday, September thru May.
Children must be age three, four or five by September 1st of the current school year and must be potty-trained.
The light and spacious classrooms are on the main floor of the building, within easy access of the parking lot. A well maintained, fenced playground featuring a sandbox, climbing equipment, a seesaw, stepping stones, and a chalkboard is used during favorable weather. During inclement weather, playtime takes place in Fellowship Hall, where children ride tricycles, play with balls and hula hoops, and use the tumbling mat or balance beam. All doors to the church are locked for security during school hours.
